Labour Minister Assigns Spokesperson to Deliver Rice to Support Housekeepers, Security Officers, and Motorcycle Taxis from COVID-19 Impact

          On July 22, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on Politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, and Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, to give rice to the representatives of housekeeper’s and security officers of departments under the Ministry of Labour, and motorcycle taxi drivers in communities nearby the Ministry of Labour. The Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the event at the foyer on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour.
          Mrs. Thienrat said that the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, are concerned about the workforce and the general public who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation. Today, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned her to deliver 5-kilogram bags of rice to the housekeepers, security officers of departments under the Ministry of Labour, and motorcycle taxis in the community area close to the Ministry of Labour, totaling 281 people. They provided the people with one bag each to help alleviate suffering and family expenses from the impact of the COVID-19 situation.
