Labour Minister Chairs Ceremony to Announce Results of TO BE NUMBER ONE Project Contest at the Central and Eastern Regions

          On October 25, 2021, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong chaired the ceremony to announce the TO BE NUMBER ONE project contest results by Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Siriwattana Phannawadee in the Central and Eastern regions for 2021. The Ministry of Labour’s Chief Inspector-General, Mr. PhumaThammakul and the Ministry of Labour’s senior executives also participated in the event at the Ambassador City Hotel, Jomtien, Pattaya, Chonburi Province.
          Mr. Boonchob said that as the main unit of the TO BE NUMBER ONE project, the Ministry of Labour has continuously supported and operated the TO BE NUMBER ONE project to meet the wishes of the project president. It has assigned the Provincial Labour Office as an important mechanism for integrating and working with network agencies in the area to promote Thai workers to refrain from drug abuse. Mr. Boonchob added that he would like to congratulate the provinces, districts, and the TO BE NUMBER ONE association for receiving the royal award. He also congratulated all teams who participated in the contest, even if they didn’t get the prize. Most important was that everyone has received the opportunity to exchange and learn concepts and guidelines for preventive and resolving drug issues, which is valuable within the provinces, districts, communities, educational institutions, establishments, detention centers, prisons, and probation offices, to be used for development and expanding their operations.
          “May the grace of Phra Sri Rattanatrai and the power of good deeds be with everyone who has participated in the TO BE NUMBER ONE project, promoting the nation’s new generation to be smart and to be good people of quality for everyone to experience happiness and success in all respects,” concluded the Permanent Secretary of Labour.
