Labour Minister Donates 10,000 Relief Bags As Royal Merit to Alleviate Suffering from COVID-19 on Anniversary of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Passing

          On October 13, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin donated 10,000 relief bags as royal merit on the occasion of the anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s passing. The relief bags were donated to alleviate the suffering of the people from the COVID-19 pandemic. Deputy Governor of Bangkok Mr. Sakchai Boonma received donations to help workers and people in Bangkok relieve the suffering from the impact of COVID-19. The occasion took place at the foyer on the first floor, Ministry of Labour. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics) Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion.
          Mr. Suchart said that on the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, on October 13, 2021, the Ministry of Labour organized an event to donate 10,000 relief bags, which include consumer products and dry foods supported by the private sector, to offer as royal merit. The bags were delivered to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau to help alleviate the suffering of people affected by the COVID-19. The effort provides initial relief with food to help alleviate the burden of household expenses and help people overcome this situation together.
