Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office received the ASSA Recognition Award 202 in the Outstanding Strategic Communications category. The ASSA Board of Directors Association gave the award with a commitment to developing more efficient service systems to continuously ensure the best benefits and coverage for insured persons.
On December 15, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security as the ASSA Association Board of Directors attended the 37th ASSA Board of Directors Meeting via a telepresence system, was under the theme of “Social Security Expansion.” The meeting included a pre-conference meeting of the ASSA Board of Directors, an ASSA Board of Directors Association meeting, and an ASSA Executive Committee Secretariat meeting, which took place on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the Jirasak Sukonthachat meeting room, 2nd floor, Administration Building. The Social Security Office’s Secretary General Mr. Todsaphon Kritwongwiman and the Social Security Office’s Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud represented the Social Security Office in attending the meeting to exchange knowledge about expanding social security coverage and the implementation of health insurance for informal workers, including creating sustainable guarantees.
Mr. Suchart said the 37th ASEAN Association Executive Committee Meeting, a teleconference held in Cambodia, announced the ASSA Recognition Award 2020 for the “Strategic Communication Recognition Award.” The Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office was awarded the ASSA Recognition Award 2020 for Outstanding Strategic Communication for its “Strategic Communications” project, under the 1506 Call Center operation, serving as a 24-hour hotline and online channels. This includes social security networks, government agencies, “Bovon” (home, temple, school, and factory)., the Social Security Officer Line Group, and the operations of the operations center to support the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, for example.

The Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office has a strong determination to strive and develop more efficient service systems to continue to ensure the best benefits and coverage for insurers,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
