Labour Minister Joins Cabinet in Visit to Bang Sue Central Station and Tests the Red Line Suburban Railway System Project Before Launch in Early 2021

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat joined the Cabinet to visit and check the readiness of services at the Bang Sue Central Station and the suburban railway system project (Red Line) before it officially opens to the public in early 2021.

          On December 15, 2020, at 14.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat visited the Bang Sue Central Station and the suburban railway system project (Red Line) at Bang Sue Central Station, Kamphaeng Phet Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok. Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha led the Cabinet and the executives from the Ministry of Transport on the visit to check the service’s readiness before the official opening to the public in early 2021.

          For the Bang Sue Central Station and the suburban railway system project (Red Line), the government cascaded the policy to the Ministry of Transport with the State Railway of Thailand as a regulatory agency. When completed, Bang Sue Central Station will be the largest and most modern rail center in the ASEAN region. Meanwhile, the Red Line will save time for traveling between the city center and the suburbs by provided quicker services.
