September 27, 2025 – Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, Minister of Labour, presided over the opening ceremony of the Job Fair Zone at the Thailand–China Cooperation Expo 2025. Also in attendance were Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wichit Intaracharoen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Employment, and senior executives from the Ministry of Labour. Dr Phot Aramwattananon, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Mr Viboon Supakrapongkul, Vice Chairman, extended a warm welcome. The event was jointly organised through a landmark collaboration between the Ministry of Labour, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Thai–Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Chinese Enterprises Association in Thailand, and was held at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.
Ms. Trinuch Thienthong stated that this Job Fair was particularly significant as it marked the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China. The main objective, she noted, was to provide a platform linking high-quality employment opportunities with leading employers from both countries. “This is not merely about job placement, but about elevating the exchange of skilled talent to drive sustainable business growth. It also highlights Thailand’s readiness to serve as a Global Supply Chain Hub, expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and future industries in every dimension.”
The Job Fair attracted participation from 57 leading companies from both China and Thailand, collectively offering more than 5,600 positions across a wide range of professions, including digital and IT, engineering, marketing, finance, and service industries. In addition, the Ministry of Labour’s booth offered a full range of special services and in-depth consultations directly to the public. These included advice on work permits, comprehensive labour law services, employment guidance and skills development, as well as information on social security and occupational safety.
The Job Fair at the Thailand–China Cooperation Expo 2025 thus represents the first integrated labour showcase of Thailand–China relations, providing both access to world-class employment opportunities and comprehensive labour knowledge to all attendees. The Job Fair will be held from September 26 to 28, 2025, from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, at Challenger Halls 2–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. The event reinforces Thailand’s ambition to become a Global Supply Chain Hub while expanding cooperation in trade, investment, future industries, labour, and education across all sectors.
