On July 22, 2019, at 13.30 hours, Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha welcomed ILO Director-General Mr. Guy Ryder and committee on a visit to Thailand to pay a courtesy call and congratulate the Prime Minister. The visiting party was also visiting Thailand as a founding member of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. In this visit to Thailand, Mr. Guy Ryder also has the objective of attending the 8th World Education Congress hosted by the Education International (EI), a federation of world-class teachers and educational personnel. Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul and Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol also joined the occasion, which took place at the Purple Room, Koo Fah building, Government Houses.
