Content Description

On January 23, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, presided over the opening ceremony of the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office Building (new location). The ceremony was attended by the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Ms. Boonyavee Khampan, the Deputy Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province, Mr. Atthisan Intra, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Nakhon Pathom Province, who joined the welcoming. Phra Thammawachiranuwat, Abbot of Wat Rai Khing, and Leader of Region 14 presided over the monk ceremony at the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office, located at No. 39, Moo 6, Don Yai Hom Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
Mr. Suchart said that the Ministry of Labour recognizes that the Provincial Employment Office’s mission of serving the people is a very important one, as it must provide services to all groups, whether it is the unemployed, students, ex-inmates, the disabled, the elderly, people with a lack of social opportunities, business operators recruiting workers, Thai workers looking for jobs both in Thailand and abroad, including foreign workers; these are all duties that government officials must provide attentive services to. These people already have an expectation of getting a job and a career with a stable and sustainable income, which is in line with the government’s policy under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, that “we will not leave anyone behind.” The Labour Minister said he would push the missions to success among all target groups.
“The Ministry of Labour would like to thank all parties for their participation and support in successfully constructing the new Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office building. I would like to express my gratitude to Phrakhru Kowitsuttakan, Abbot of Wat Khok Khemao Temple, who has kindly procured an auspicious day for laying the foundation stone and was the head monk, giving precepts to auspicious chants. Thank you, Phra Thammawachiranuwat, Abbot of Wat Rai Khing, and Leader of Region 14, who kindly presided over the opening ceremony of the new Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office Building,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
For the new Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office building, the Department of Employment received an investment budget allocation for construction. The new Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office building is a two-story building located at No. 39, Moo 6, Don Yai Hom Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province, on three rai of state property. It was built to serve all target groups in promoting employment, managing the work of foreigners, offering job seeker protection, and supporting other work. The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony on September 20, 2021. The construction of the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Office building is complete, and operations moved to this building on January 16, 2023. It is now ready to serve all target groups of people who come to contact the government.
