Labour Minister Receives Donation of Sugar from Thai Roong Ruang Sugar Group for Flood Victims Survival Kits

          On October 3, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol, Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Sergeant Major Yossingh Liamlert, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on Politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud and the Ministry of Labour’s executives received a donation of 1,000 kilograms of sugar from Thai Roong Ruang Sugar Group, by Saraburi Sugar Co., Ltd., Thai Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., and Ruam Khamlarp Trading Co., Ltd. Khun Nicha Asadathorn, Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing from Thai Roong Ruang Group was the company’s representative in donating to help people affected by flood in various areas. The occasion took place at the foyer on the ground floor, Ministry of Labour.
          Mr. Suchart said that the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence General Prayuth Chan-ocha and the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, are concerned for the flood victims. Therefore, all agencies were instructed to work together to help flood victims in different areas. On behalf of the government and the Ministry of Labour, they thanked the network partners like Khun Nicha Asadathorn, Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing from Thai Roong Ruang Group by Saraburi Sugar Co., Ltd., Thai Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., and Ruam Khamlarp Trading Co., Ltd., for donating 1,000 kilograms of sugar to the Ministry of Labour to pack into survival kits. The kits will be delivered to flood victims to alleviate the suffering of workers and all community members affected by the flood.
