June 19, 2026, at 08.45 hours – Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Minister of Labour, received a letter from Mr. Chris Potranandana, Party-List Member of Parliament and Leader of the Setthakit Party, together with his delegation. The letter requested that the Ministry of Labour urgently investigate and resolve the problem of foreign workers taking up occupations legally reserved for Thai nationals, engaging in work beyond the scope of their permitted rights, and foreign capital groups potentially operating businesses through nominee arrangements in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The handover took place at the ground-floor lobby of the Ministry of Labour building.
