On September 21, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin received survival bags from the private sector. Executive Director of A.C.M. Development Company Limited Mr. Anon Wiriyapanlert and Assistant Managing Director of T.K. Garment Co., Ltd. Mr. Piangpetch Chaturacharoenkun delivered 1,000 sets for the Ministry of Labour to help workers who have been affected by COVID-19. Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics) Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the foyer on the first floor, Ministry of Labour. Mr. Suchart said that Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, are concerned about the workers and the general public amid the COVID-19 situation.
“Today, the Ministry of Labour would like to thank both private sector companies, A.C.M. Development Co., Ltd. and TK Garment Co., Ltd., for donating the 1,000 survival bags to the Ministry of Labour to help affected by COVID-19. The donations help to lighten the burden and build morale in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, to overcome this situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
