On May 21, 2020, at 14.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul welcomed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Thailand Mr. Michael George DeSombre and committee on a courtesy call to discuss the following issues: 1) Measures relating to COVID-19. 2) Human resource development to support investment from the United States of America in the field of skill development required from the United States, by transferring knowledge and skills for careers, and supporting equipment, tools, and machines for training. 3) General preferential customs duties. 4) Access to education for children of migrant workers, and 5) Occupational safety and health cooperation. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the management team joined in welcoming and discussing the above issues at Chatumongol meeting room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
