Labour Minister Witnesses Donations from Charity Golf Competition to Thai Labour Museum Foundation

          On December 14, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin joined as a witness on the occasion of the committee organizing a charity golf tournament. The proceeds from the competition were donated to the Thai Labour Museum Foundation. President of the Thai Labour Museum Foundation, Mr. Tawee Kanchanawong, and the delegation received the donation. Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol and Mr. Suthi Sukosol, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour. Mr. Suchart said that he and the Ministry of Labour’s executives visited the Thai Labor Museum located on Makkasan Railway Industrial Estate Road in Bangkok on October 11 to listen to the history and mission of Thai labour and problems and obstacles from past operations. They saw the Thai Labour Museum’s importance as a place that collects history about the livelihood and the work of workers. It is also a center for collecting information, documents, and historical evidence related to Thai workers exhibited to the public. Therefore, they wish to help push the Thai Labour Museum to be a learning center about the history of Thai labour and as a place to organize activities for the workforce and the public.
          Mr. Suchart continued that the Ministry of Labour has encouraged the Thai Labour Museum Foundation to organize a charity golf tournament to raise money to pay for the renovation and administration of the Thai Labour Museum. They recruited teams to participate in the competition, which took place on December 10 at the Windsor Park & Golf Club, Nong Chok District, Bangkok. The competition on that day was complete.
          Today, the competition organizing committee brought the proceeds from the competition to donate to the Thai Labour Museum Foundation for the renovation and administration of the Thai Labour Museum for further objectives.
