Professor Jak gives encouragement to Phetchaburi Social Security, and awakens the “Bovorn” network, along with encouraging the labour volunteers in the sea salt and gold turbine groups.
On June 24, 2020, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet, travelled to observe services provided by the Phetchaburi Provincial Social Security Office and listen to the summary of the unemployment compensation benefits from the force majeure, by the Phetchaburi Provincial Social Security Office and Cha-Am branch. The Ministry of Labour is ready to drive the social security network throughout Thailand through Bovorn principles, with a group of representatives (buddhist clergy/schools/villages/establishments). Deputy Governor of Phetchaburi Province Mr. Natthawut Phetphromsorn, Phetchaburi Social Security Officer Mr. Surasit Srkaew, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour and staff gave a welcoming.
Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet discolsed the Ministry of Labour’s policies that give importance and monitors operations of the supervising agencies. He said that on June 24, 2020, they arrived in Phetchaburi province to listen to the summary of the unemployment compensation benefits from force majeure by the Phetchaburi Provincial Social Security Office and Cha-Am Branch. The report was received by Phetchaburi Social Security Officer Mr. Surasit Srkaew. The total work volume was 12,979 cases, whereby the office has accelerated the diagnosis of the benefits (as of June 19, 2020) for 12,451 people, who have been paid the benefits in the total amount of 120,221,595 Baht. At this time, the Phetchaburi Social Security Office is able to manage the volume and is happy to provide services to insured persons. On this occassion, representatives of the social security network throughout Thailand or Bowon groups (Buddhist clergy/schools/villages/establishments) met with them to acknowledge operational policies. In addition, policies were given to the heads of the government agencies under the Ministry of Labour (5 tigers). Prof. Dr. Jak also met with insured persons with disabilities to give items and encouragement. In the afternoon, Advisor to the Labour Minister traveled to meet and visit the professional enterprise group in sea salt turbines, in Thong Kaew, Ban Laem, Phetchaburi, to extend coverage to the freelance occupation group.
