Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned his Advisor to join a video conference meeting to follow up on the Covid-19 outbreak situation and deliver the Labour Minister’s policies on managing the situation in 8 provinces.
On December 29, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan as chairperson of the video conference meeting to follow up on the Covid-19 outbreak situation and to deliver the Labour Minister’s policies on managing the situation in 8 provinces including Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms.Aumpun Thuvavit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the meeting at the Sangsingkaeo meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The Labour Minister’s Adviser said that due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Samut Sakhon province and many areas now, the government under the leadership of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan are concerned about the Covid-19 outbreak all workers involved.
Mrs. Thiwalrat continued that today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned her to chair the video conference meeting with the heads of government agencies under the eight relevant provinces, to acknowledge an order to appoint the Ministry of Labour’s Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (MOL CCSA) and the establishment of the coordination centers at the provincial level. The meeting also covered the Cabinet’s resolution on allowing foreigners from Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar to remain in the Kingdom and work legally under a special case under the new wave of Covid-19 outbreaks and other actions related to the order of the MOL CCSA in other provinces.
“Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has concern for all government officials and affiliates who are dedicated to performing their duties to the fullest during the Covid-19 pandemic to overcome this Covid-19 crisis,” concluded Mrs. Thiwalrat.
