On December 2, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong presided over the new Udon Thani Social Security Office’s opening ceremony, located at No 55 Moo 1, Rob Mueang Road, Nong Bua Subdistrict, Muang, Udon Thani. Deputy Governor of Udon Thani Mr. Wanchai Chanporn, Deputy Governor of Udon Thani Province Mr. Nitiphat Leelalert, Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyuth, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, the Social Security Office’s executives, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, the Social Security Office’s Staff and shops in Udon Thani, gave a welcoming.
Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong disclosed to the media that the Minister of Labour had given importance to the satisfaction of employers, employees, and insured persons who use the services offered by all departments under the Ministry of Labour. The focus is to offer more convenience, speed, and cost savings on travel. The Social Security Office is considered an important agency that has always implemented the Ministry of Labour’s policy. He shared that he was honoured to preside over the opening ceremony of the new Udon Thani Social Security Office today. In the past, the Social Security Office has developed technology to provide convenience and speed through modern services, including the construction of adequate facilities to provide the most efficient service for insured persons and employers and companies. This focus is at the Social Security Office’s heart, promoting a good reputation and boosting morale and encouragement. The Social Security Office is proud to deliver excellent service in all dimensions. On this occasion, four insured persons were granted benefits, including in the case of childbirth, old age, and compensation for loss of income.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyuth revealed that this new Udon Thani Provincial Social Security Office was originally located at No. 13/3, Mukhaeng Road, Mak Khaeng Subdistrict, Muang, Udon Thani. It recently moved to a new location: No. 55, Village No. 1, Rob Mueang Road, Nong Bua, Mueang, Udon Thani, and has opened for service since February 19, 2020. There is currently 62 personnel, with 4,422 establishments under its responsibility covering 144,674 insured persons. This can be divided into 62,926 insured persons under Section 33, 15,483 insured persons under Section 39, and 66,265 insured persons under Section 40. There are about 300 insured persons per day at the office. In this regard, there must be a place to support adequate and ready services to facilitate the employees, insurers, and the general public.
