Ministry of Labor prepares to organize the National Labor Day on May 1

          (19 April 61) Mr. Waranon Peetiwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor The meeting was co-chaired by the National Labor Day Coordinating Committee, the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of representatives from government agencies and state enterprises. The government, by the Ministry of Labor, will organize the National Labor Day on May 1 every year. To commemorate the importance and benefits of the labor force to the economic development of the country.

 

           For interesting activities, the National Labor Day this year, such as in the morning at 07.15 am, the ceremony of offering breakfast to the 9 monks, by H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, presided over the ceremony at Royal Turf Club of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. Then, at 09.45 am, there will be a procession of honor, a procession of the Ministry of Labor, and a procession of workers to the venue. Then, at 2.30 pm, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha will preside over the opening ceremony and give speech to workers on the Labor Day in the year 2018 and visit the exhibitions of the departments under the Ministry of Labor.

            In addition, the Ministry of Labor has activities such as social security, labor law, insurer’s benefits, basic health check-up service, social security office, raffle prizes to attend the event, as well as to watch the stage from the famous artist by Grammy Gold Co., Ltd. H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, the Minister of Labor will preside over a press conference detailing the National Labor Day in 2018 next week.
