Ministry of Labour Commemorates Annual “Nikom Chandravithun Day” for 2018

          On October 21, 2018, at 13.30 hours, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector Mr. Apinya Sujarittanan was assigned by Permanent Secretary Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark to be chairman of the seminar on “Nikom Chandravithun Day” and the discussion on “Ministry of Labour: 25 Years of Performance with Policy and Labour Management in the Future”. The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, organizations, workers, employers, leaders, developers, students, the media and interested parties, totaling about 200 people which took place at the Jompol Pibulsongkram conference room on the 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour.

 

 

  The Ministry of Labour with the Institute of Education and Human Resources, Thammasat University, The International Human Resource Development Foundation and the Nikom Chandravithun Foundation jointly organized the seminar on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the Nikom Chandravithun Day”, as a reminder of the virtues of Professor Nikom Chandravithun who passed away on October 31, 2001. He was a contributor to the country’s initial labour policies, the development of the labour law and social welfare, including the establishment of the Ministry of Labour in 1993; this was the 17th year since his departure. The seminar on “25 Years of the Ministry of Labour with Policy and Labour Management in the Future” had the objective of sharing the Ministry of Labour’s efforts and to seek suitable policies and labour management for the future.
