Mrs.Petcharat Sinauy, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor presided over stakeholder hearings to undertake the drafting of the law on prevention and elimination of thresholds labor and forced labor. The Ministry of Labor has invited relevant agencies to participate, such as the court, the ordinance, the army, the navy, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Comptroller General’s Department, police, representatives of employers, ILO, IOM, EJF, Thai Chamber of Commerce, Thai Bankers’ Association, Federation of Thai Industries, Fisheries Association, Human Rights Watch, Asia Each Pacific, the Labor Rights Promotion Network Foundation, etc. to comment on the draft law at the Ministry of Labor.
