Ministry of Labour Organizes Children’s Day Activities

          Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul has consistently given great importance to the nation’s youths, promoting them to grow into important resources to drive the nation forward. This year, the Ministry of Labour has organized Children’s Day events related to understanding the working life, from skills assessments to technological recruitment tools and freelance professions to workplace safety. This year, the Labour Minister will also be present at the event.
          Interesting activities include demonstration of 5 professions including in balloon art and magic, lacing stone necklaces, cooking takoyaki, Phad Thai and sandwiches for example. There will also be skills assessments, videos documenting different professions and plenty of brochures full of information. The event will also host several game and serve snacks and drinks throughout the day. The workplace safety knowledge center will be open for visit at the Smart Job Center to visitors about workplace hazards and prevention. Quizzes will also be organized at the center. In addition to this, cooking demonstrations will be held on sandwich making, fruit fondue and fruit punch at the training college.  The Smart Training Center will also have an exhibition showing the Father of Thai Craftsmanship.
The Ministry of Labour thus invites all children and the general public to take part in the Children’s Day activities this Saturday 14 January 2017 from 08.00 – 14.00 at the Smart Job Center, on the third floor of the Ministry of Labour’s building in Din Daeng, Bangkok.
