The Ministry of Labour joined HERO brand to donate 204,000 plastic zipper bags to the Thai Red Cross Society, to be distributed to the public to pack cloth masks to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Today (April 23, 2020) at 10.00 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat joined the Managing Director of King Pack Industrial Co., Ltd. Mr. Tawee Chulsakulsakun to donate 102,000 plastic zipper bags to the Director of the Office of the Thai Red Cross Mrs. Sunantha Sornanusin and committee at the meeting room on the 4th floor, Chalerm Buranon Building, Thai Red Cross.
On April 13, The Thai Red Cross provided 67 rolls of Sala cloth to the Ministry of Labour for Skill Development Institutes/Office nationwide. The fabric was cut into 200,000 sanitary masks but did not have bags. To maintain cleanliness and safety for users, the Ministry of Labour has coordinated with King Pack Industrial Company Limited, a distributor of plastic products under the brand “HERO,” to offer 102,000 plastic zipper bags to the Thai Red Cross Society. On April 16, and today (April 23, 2020), the company gave out another 102,000 units, totaling 204,000 pieces to be delivered to the Thai Red Cross, to pack the cloth masks before distribution to the public to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
