MOL Assigns Advisor to Visit Nakhon Pathom to Visit Section 33 Insured Persons Vaccination Services

          On September 9, 2021, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit the area to present a certificate of appreciation to the private sector for their contributions in providing facilities and hospitals in the social security network for supporting medical personnel in the COVID-19 vaccinations to Section 33 insured persons, to stop the pandemic from spreading to factories and establishments. The visit also aimed to boost morale and encouragement among insured persons, medical personnel, civil servants, and agencies’ staff under the Ministry of Labour in Nakhon Pathom. The occasion took place at the Dharma Practice Building in Honor of the 84th Anniversary of Maharaja, Wat Rai Khing, Rai Khing Subdistrict, Sampran District. Nakhon Pathom Deputy Governor Mr. Apinan Phuakphong, along with a team of the five labour leaders in Nakhon Pathom Province, the Director of Sampran Hospital, and related agencies, joined to give a welcoming.
          Nakhon Pathom province has 242,726 Section 33 insured persons, whereby 15,000 people have been allocated vaccines since July 22, 2021. In this regard, two vaccination service points have been opened for insured persons under Section 33, providing the second dose. The first facility is at Sampran Hospital, whereby vaccinations are scheduled for Section 33 insured persons at the 84th Anniversary of Maharaja Building, Rai Khing Temple, for 7,500 people. The second service point is at Metta Pracharak Hospital, for 7,500 people, vaccinating 750 people daily. Nakhon Pathom province has already vaccinated 13,163 insured persons, comprising 6,891 Thai people and 6,272 foreigners. The insured persons are scheduled to complete their second dose as planned on September 10, 2021.
          From the meeting of the Provincial Communicable Disease Committee Meeting No. 56/2021 on Monday, September 6, 2021, it was resolved that the Social Security Office requested assistance from the Department of Communicable Disease Control. The Labour Minister and the Social Security Office requested to expedite the allocation of vaccines to Section 33 insured persons in Nakhon Pathom Province to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and benefit the country’s economic recovery quickly and thoroughly.
          As for the planning and management of vaccines, has been screened by the Communicable Disease Committee, Nakhon Pathom Province, to select the target audience from the registration database of Section 33 insured person organizations in Nakhon Pathom Province from the Social Security Office. The Social Security Office has been assigned to call and inform the appointment. It will distribute vaccination points in targeted areas in the province following the disease risk conditions to be consistent with government policy.
