MOL Commences Training to Develop PR Personnel on Creating Content in the Digital Age

          On July 11, 2022, at 09.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, and the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, chaired the opening remarks on the training program for public relations development for the Ministry of Labour’s personnel, giving a lecture on “public relations guidelines following the Ministry of Labour’s policies.” The event was honored by Ms. Thapanee Eadsrichai, a well-known field news anchor from the 3D News program and from “The Reporters,” an online media. Khun Yam gave a lecture on “writing techniques for public relations and creating a corporate image” and “techniques for making clips and preparing infographics for public relations.” Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion. Participants included public relations practitioners from departments under the Ministry of Labour, who attended at the training room of the Institute of Skill Development, 2nd floor, Smart Job Center Building, Ministry of Labour.

          The project is aimed at public relations practitioners from the Ministry of Labour. It aims to promote knowledge, understanding, and development of news and article writing and selection of interesting public relations agencies in various forms, providing accurate and clear information, as well as developing the potential of public relations personnel to be effective for working in the digital age society. Both government and private agencies have to keep up with communications for the organization to be known and accepted, for people to gain confidence and trust, and to receive cooperation and support from target audiences and stakeholders to be able to answer to management to achieve objectives well. In public relations and the dissemination of corporate information to target groups, it is necessary to write press releases relevant to the media to convey and present the organization’s content effectively. It is important to impress the media and to spark ideas for the media to create content related to the organization.
