On February 8, 2019, at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark chaired the meeting of the Ministry of Labour’s committee on the management and procurement of computer systems no. 2/2019. The meeting considered the project and purchase of computer equipment for the 2020 fiscal year. For the Department of Employment, projects included the Data Center Platform project, the procurement of computers and printers to replace deteriorated machines, the development of a DOE license phase 1, the development of an electronics system for Thai workers to go abroad phase 3 and project to source information systems for human resource development. For the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare projects included information system development to raise the level of public service through e-Service systems and the plan to increase the operational efficiency of labour and safety inspectors with smart devices phase 2. The meeting also considered security devices and network communication systems phase 2 for the Department of Employment and the procurement of computer hardware for Labour Offices abroad. The meeting took place at the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s meeting room, 7th Floor, Ministry of Labour.
