MOL Conducts Inspection in Chachoengsao

          The Labour Minister assigned the Assistant to the Labour Minister to visit Chachoengsao, meet with heads of relevant government agencies to get feedback on issues, drive important labour missions, and visit the medical service organization model of social security hospitals.
          On October 8, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to visit Chachoengsao for inspection, together with the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Puma Thamakul. The visit involved a meeting to drive the Ministry of Labour’s missions following its policies. They also met with heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Chachoengsao and listened to a briefing on the situations and drivers of important labor policies, including problems in the area. The meeting took place at the Phraya Sri Sunthorn Wohan (Noi Ajay Yangkun) meeting room, 1st floor, Chachoengsao City Hall. Deputy Governor of Chachoengsao Mr. Sarayut Kaewkulpricha and Labour Academic Mr. Worapat Khamkrai, acting representative of officials from Chachoengsao, gave a welcoming. They also led the visit to inspect medical service arrangements of the social security hospital at Kasemrad Hospital in Chachoengsao, a medical facility that business establishments use services from instead of having a doctor in the company.
          There are people in the workforce in Chachoengsao, consisting of 258,721 formal workers and 179,703 informal workers, with 5,510 social security registered establishments. There are 229,379 insured persons and one social security hospital under the government’s medical facility and two private hospitals.
