MOL Distributes Cloth Masks to Prevent Covid-19 to Media

                Assistant to the Labour Minister delivers cloth masks to the media and distributes masks to employees in organizations involved in the prevention of the coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19).

                On April 10, 2020, Assistant to the Labour Minister Dr. Duangrit Benjathukul Chairungrueng distributed cloth masks to the media, consisting of Nation TV, Thai Post newspaper, Thai Rath newspaper, Matichon, Khao Sod, and Daily News, totaling over 1,000 pieces. The masks will be distributed to employees in organizations to prevent the risk of the coronavirus infection in 2019 (Covid-19).

                The fabric masks are a product of professional training conducted by the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development. The training is an initiative on remedial measures for those affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, including those who are unemployed or have been laid off. The training includes a standardized production process that is of high quality and safe from chemicals, whereby used cloth masks can be washed for reuse.
