On April 27, 2020, the Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mrs. Pitsamai Nithipaiboon gave an interview to Matichon Newspaper on precautionary measures against the COVID-19 virus outbreak among migrant workers, regarding the cooperation of the Ministry of Labour and foreign public health volunteers on COVID-19 prevention. The measures include the screening of foreign workers in workplaces and providing knowledge on how workers can protect and maintain sanitation to be safe from the COVID-19 virus, including the Social Security Office’s measures to assist insured workers affected by COVID-19.
