On December 21, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana presided over the OTOP City 2020 event and graciously presided over Thai fabric exhibition and observed designs, further adding value to Thai fabrics. Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin appointed Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to greet Her Royal Highness at the Challenger Building 2, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
The 16th OTOP City 2020 event was hosted under the “Precious New Year Gifts included in OTOP City 2020″ theme, held from December 19-27, 2020. The event showcases and sells One Tambon One Products, publicizes project implementations by creating opportunities for learning and enhancing skills in exhibiting and selling products to manufacturers, OTOP entrepreneurs, and OTOP food products to taste, following government policy. The event promotes marketing channels and earning money for the community, including creating learning guidelines for OTOP product development for OTOP operators following the needs of customer groups in Bangkok and metropolitan areas. This year’s highlights included participants admiring His Majesty the King in the exhibition in honour of His Majesty King Rama 10. The exhibition also presented Her Royal Highness in the design of fabric colours and patterns, sewn in the form of “fun wearing Thai fabrics,” from a visit to see fabric products and handicrafts of three regions, showing dyed fabrics and royal designs for 18 clothing sets and many other interesting things.
