MOL Housewife Association Fills Community Pantries to Alleviate People from COVID-19 Impacts

                The Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association took consumer goods to fill the community pantries for people to take to use in their lives, in an effort to relieve the suffering from COVID-19 virus.

                On June 5, 2020, at 10.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Theanrat Nawamawat as president of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewife Association and the association’s board, jointly fill in the community pantry consisting of consumer goods and daily necessities of dry food such as canned fish, instant noodles and drinking water for example. The community pantries aim to encourage and alleviate the suffering for people to overcome the COVID-19 virus crisis at Gate 1, the Ministry of Labour.

                The Ministry of Labour’s community pantry was established on May 13. Each day, executives, civil servants, officials, and the general public fill the cabinet with consumer goods that are essential to life, to share with those who are currently experiencing problems in their lives, and to reduce the burden of expenses. At the same time, people who want to share can donate items to this cabinet to encourage and help people overcome the COVID-19 virus crisis together.
