On April 1, 2019, at 10.30 hours, Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha chaired the commencement of the Civil Service Day 2019, along with a testament to the outstanding civil servants for 2018, on receiving honourary certificates and lapel pins to honour exceptional civil servants in 2018. The event took place on the 4th floor, Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana, Laksi, Bangkok. On this occasion, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour and Acting Inspector-General Mr. Somsak Apiwantanakul led the ministry’s civil servant awardees for the Outstanding Civil Service Award 2018 to receive a certificate and lapel pin to honour outstanding performers in 2018. Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Wisanu Kruea-ngarm was the awarder, whereby this year, the Ministry of Labour had ten civil servants who received honourary certificates and lapel pins to recognize outstanding government officials for 2018.
