MOL Inspects Rayong Institute for Skill Development 17

          On October 7, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to travel to Rayong to inspect the Institute for Skill Development 17, with the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Puma Thamakul. The visiting committee followed up on the Ministry of Labour’s missions, following its policies, and to meet with the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Rayong. The meeting listened to a briefing on the skills development projects’ results in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the situation, and the drive of important labour policies, including problems and obstacles on labour in the area. The occasion took place at the Rayong Skill Development Institute 17. Skill development academic Mr. Chainarong Madue, Skill Development Scholar, on behalf of the Director of the Rayong Skill Development Institute 17, gave a welcoming and led the Skill Development Institute’s visit.
          The Rayong to inspect the Institute for Skill Development 17 has implemented the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Labour Skill Development Project for 2020, totaling 37 courses in 5 industries with 2,203 trainees. Labour skills development in the EEC for 2021 will focus on training to support the ten target industries and advanced technology through cooperation with government agencies, the private sector, and related associations, consisting of skill training to support ten industrial sectors and the EEC training model (Type B).
