The Ministry of Labour invites all generosity in donating to the Foundation for Children, caring for over 210 children affected by the COVID-19 virus outbreak, in preparation to maintain the privileges of staff within the foundation. The effort is in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to look after and help children.
On May 12, 2020, at 13.00 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet welcomed the Foundation for Children’s Committee Secretary Mrs. Ratchanee Thongchai, and committee. The visiting committee met to seek advice, as the Foundation for Children was affected by the Covid-19 virus outbreak, where donation amounts to the foundation have decreased. This has affected over 210 children under the Foundation’s supervision including staff. The meeting took place at the Saengsingkaew conference room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet said that the Ministry of Labour is prepared to oversee the benefits of the foundation’s staff. It will coordinate with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security about the care and assistance for the children within the foundation, and invites everyone who is ready to help donate property, money, and consumer goods, as the basic necessities are important for children and all officers in living.
The Foundation for Children’s Committee Secretary Mrs. Ratchanee Thongchai said that for this meeting, the foundation wanted the Ministry of Labour to help with public relations in providing welfare assistance to affected employees, to give the staff more morale and be kind to children.
