On November 3, 2021, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong joined the National Fisheries Policy Committee Meeting No. 4/2021 via Zoom at the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s meeting room, 7th floor, Ministry of Labour. Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan chaired the meeting. The meeting had an order to expedite fishing problems for people in all dimensions to effectively manage business operations in Thailand’s fisheries sector. It also followed up on the performance to drive concrete results. It reported the periodical progress by allowing all agencies to work together following the legal framework and work together to solve the problem of illegal fishing and labour in the fishing sector for sustainability, as well as solving problems for fishery entrepreneurs in all sectors.
