On November 6, 2018, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul together with Assistant to the Permanent Secretary Mr. Somsak Apiwantanakul, Minister Counsellor (on labour) Ms. Wachuleerat Thongthip and Director of International Affairs Ms. Saduldee Kittisuwan, joined a bilateral meeting with Ms. Evelyne Pichot, DG-EMPL, European Commission, on collaboration regarding a Labour Dialogue. The Ministry of Labour will host an academic conference between November 29-30, 2018 which will host discussions on issues of mutual interest in academic conferences and exchange views on matters such as informal labour, gender equality the Thai fruit pickers in in Finland / Sweden for example.
