MOL Joins Forces with OVEC to Promote Employment for Students and Workers at All Levels

          On January 7, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, to preside over a meeting to discuss missions linked to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labour at Hat Yai Technical College, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, the Ministry of Education’s Inspector-General Mr. Nuttaphong Nuanmark, and the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Education’s executives also joined the occasion. Mr. Suthep said that today, Mr. Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned him to join a meeting with the Office of Vocational Education Commission and agencies under the Ministry of Education to discuss links to the mission under the cooperation framework on the promotion of education with providing jobs for students and workers at all levels. The Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development has worked with the Office of Vocational Education Commission and agencies under the Ministry of Education on skill development, integrating skill development and vocational education accordingly. The operations and resource management are planned together to create and upgrade human resources to meet the needs of the manufacturing and service sectors, both in quantity and quality.
          “The cooperation between the two agencies will be a good sign that will enhance the skill level of students, which is an important force in skill preparation to enter the labour market in the future, having the potential and meeting the needs of entrepreneurs,” concluded Mr. Suthep.
