MOL Meets on Employment Promotion Program for New Graduates by the Public and Private Sectors

         Today (October 8, 2020) at 16.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin chaired the conference on implementing the employment promotion program for new graduates by the public and private sectors (Co-Payment). The Ministry of Labour’s Secretary-General Mr. Suthep Chitayavong, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, the Ministry of Labour’s executives and agencies from the central and provincial regions across the country also attended the meeting at the Tien Achakul Meeting Room, 10th floor, Department of Employment. The Labour ordered the departments under the Ministry of Labour in the region to study and understand the qualifications and conditions of employers/establishments and new graduates/employees who wish to participate in the employment promotion program for new graduates by the public and private sectors. He also asked for publicity of the program to create awareness and understanding among employers, new graduates and relevant officials, to meet with employers, companies, and new graduates in the area, to invite them to join the project. The Labour Minister asked for a follow up on the implementation results, which is based on the number of companies in the area including the population between 15-34 years of age in the area. The total target is 260,000 people. For employer or new graduate enrollment, those interested can enter the “Thaimeengarntum.com” platform and click on the banner “hiring new graduates”. Once the Co-Payment system is fully developed, further details will be shared.
