MOL Meets to Develop Relations Between Government’s Special Representatives, Security Organizations and International Organizations/International Non-Governmental Organizations

          On February 14, 2020, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian to attend the meeting to develop relations between the special representative of the government, security agencies and international organizations/international non-governmental organizations. The occasion took place at the Hansa JB Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla. The government’s special representative General Manee Chantip chaired the meeting.

The meeting discussed:

  1. Planning to resolve issues in the southern border provinces by 2020.
  2. International organizations/international non-governmental organizations present problems, obstacles, and recommendations for joint operations to coordinate at the policy level.
  3. Establish a working group on mental health remedies for people in the three southern border provinces.

In this regard, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General explained the issue of the operations of foreign private organizations in the southern border provinces and the problem of hiring foreign workers, which have an effect on the security in the southern border provinces.
