MOL Meets with the Blind Association of Thailand on Promoting Social Employment

         On December 2, 2021, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong met with representatives of the Blind Association of Thailand to promote the social employment of the blind to improve their quality of life, including 200 blind people in 77 provinces. The discussion aims to develop the quality of life for the blind in all dimensions, including creating a tracking system and assessment of blind people who have received support to improve their quality of life. The goal is to encourage such people to live comfortably in society. The meeting took place at the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s meeting room, 7th floor, Ministry of Labour.
