MOL Organizes Booth for Professional Training, Applications and Pak Nam Po Public Station

           The Ministry of Labour joined a professional training booth, recruiting over 1,000 job vacancies and providing free haircut services, taking applications for insured persons under Section 40, together with exhibitions on missions of the agency. The booth also hosted many games with giveaways in the first public station project at the Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University Hall, creating jobs, creating careers, improving the skills for people to earn and have security in life.

         On June 14, 2019, Assistant Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat jointly commenced the 1st public station project at the Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University Hall, Muang, Nakhon Sawan, with Mr. Athaporn Singhavichai, Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province. The public station project is an activity organized to provide an open area for people to give complaints and reports, and access government agencies conveniently. It also provides a channel to present problems and solutions and has various public services such as health examination, barber service and cataract surgery. The Thai PBS television station is a medium for presenting issues in each area and is an intermediary in solving problems and finding creative solutions. The event was held for the first time, of 4 times, on June 14. The second will be in Chiang Mai in August, the third in Nakorn Si Thammarat in September and the fourth in Ubon Ratchathani in November.
         The agencies under the Ministry of Labour organized activities related to the mission to create skills and jobs for the people to earn income and have security in life. The activities included a demonstration of 4 professional occupations, including making jasmine flowers from tissue paper, dog doll keychains, crackers and dessert by the Nakhon Sawan and Uthai Thani Department of Employment. There were four employers/companies to recruit people with over 1,000 vacancies, including CP All. The event also provided free haircuts, took applications for Section 40 insurers and hosted an exhibition on the Ministry of Labour’s missions, with games and giveaways.
