MOL Organizes Ceremony to Celebrate Coronation Day

          On May 4, 2020, at 07.30 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul presided over the ceremony to honour HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, on the auspicious occasion of the Coronation Day, on May 4, 2020. The occasion took place at the foyer on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour, with high-level executives from the government sector, consisting of the Office of the Labour Minister, the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, the Department of Employment, the Department of Skill Development, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and the Social Security Office. Participants joined the ceremony which took place in the following order: the Labour Minister paid respect to the royal image of His Majesty the King and opened a cone of the flower basket in front of the royal image, paying respects. The Labour Minister then gave a royal salute:

          “I, M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul, Minister of Labour, on behalf of executives and civil servants under the Ministry of Labour, have joyfully come together to show loyalty and celebrate the Coronation Day. Today is the anniversary since His Majesty ascended to the throne as the King of the Chakri Dynasty. We are honoured to be under His Majesty’s royal grace, who reigns for the benefit of the country and the well-being of all citizens, as the royal command given to protect all citizens. His Majesty has a strong determination to create unity among the people, so that unity is a force in promoting and developing the nation. His Majesty’s heart overflows with compassion. He has always cared for the people and graciously helps those in need. The royal speeches given to the people have brought encouragement and created the intellect to overcome various crises. This unending royal grace Will be forever be engraved in the minds of all. On this auspicious occasion, all of us would like to give our blessings. May the power of all sacred things be with His Majesty the King, and be fulfilled by the people, and forever be with the people, for all eternity”.
