MOL Partners with Companies in Chachoengsao in Organizing Blood Donation Events in Honour of His Majesty the King

           The Ministry of Labour organized the 4th blood donation activity at Microchip Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Muang, Chachoengsao, from the 15 events, to help workers and people who suffer from work hazards. The project also looks at promoting all sectors to recognize the sacrifice and doing good deeds without expecting returns and to celebrate the coronation ceremony of 2019. returns, commemorating His Majesty the King’s birthday in 2019.

 

 

           Today (July 24, 2019), Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul chaired the opening ceremony of the fourth blood donation project on the occasion of the royal coronation. Deputy Provincial Governor of Chachoengsao gave a welcoming statement and Managing Director of Microchip Technology (Thailand) delivered a statement at the company’s site in Mueang, Chachoengsao. He said that His Majesty the King, coronated on May 4, 2019, said that “we will continue to preserve, extend and occupy the land fairly, for the benefit of the people forever”, which represents the royal determination to develop the country to prosperity and to promote and maintain the quality of life for the people to live better. In addition, His Majesty the King also initiated the royal volunteer project to encourage all sectors to jointly organize public activities to develop, promote and maintain the quality of life of people in the community.
           Mr. Suradej said that this event is the fourth time with a target group of executives, civil servants and officials, as well as employer organizations, employees, both formal and informal workers, totaling 300 people. The target is to host 15 blood donation events with three within the Ministry of Labour’s premises and 12 within companies’ premises, from May 4, 2019, to May 4, 2020. In addition to being held in honour of the coronation ceremony, the activity is considered a response to the royal order and determination to improve the quality of life of people, through support of blood supply to the Thai Red Cross and public hospitals to help patients and those suffering from hazards at work, as well as encouraging those who attend the event to realize the sacrifice and good deeds without expecting returns, as well as expressing the. The event received good support from Microchip Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., National Blood Service Region 3 in Chonburi Province, the Thai Red Cross, Chachoengsao Police Station, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, the Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department and local administrative organizations.
