The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross, produced 100,000 face masks to distribute to the public for prevention against the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
On April 13, 2020, Assistant to the Labour Minister Dr. Duangrit Benjathukul Chairungrueng, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat and the Ministry of Labour’s executives welcomed Mrs. Sunantha Sornanusin, Director of the Office of the Thai Red Cross, Thai Red Cross Society, and three garment and screen fabric businesses, consisting of PSK Garment, Thippawan Sports Group Company Limited and Mali Good (Thailand) Company Limited, on occasion to give 67 rolls of salo cloth. The cloth was given to the Office/ Institute for Skill Development nationwide to produce into 100,000 masks so that the Red Cross Office of the Thai Red Cross Society can distribute masks to the public to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
