The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour met and discussed with related units on preparing for the establishment of the Labour Administration Center to drive missions in all dimensions.
On December 24, 2020, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew to preside over the meeting to establish a Labour Administration Center. The meeting took place at the Sangsingkeaw meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The Deputy Permanent Secretary said that the Ministry of Labour’s main mission is to promote employment, skill development, protection of labour rights following the law, and strengthen social security to provide workers with a better quality of life. The workforce is a major cog in driving the country’s economy. Therefore, to carry out such missions following the current situations and create flexibility in management, the Ministry of Labour has established a Labour Administration Center.
The center’s mission is to drive government policies, the Ministry of Labour’s policies, urgent instructions and missions, and monitor situations that affect the labour sector.
