MOL Produces 100,000 Masks for Thai Red Cross to Give to Public in COVID-19 Prevention

         The Ministry of Labour produced 100,000 pieces of cloth masks in return to the Thai Red Cross for distribution to the public to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

          Today (April 30, 2020) at 09.00 hours, Assistant to the Labour Minister Dr. Duangrit Benjathukul Chairungrueng, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat and the Ministry of Labour’s executives returned 100,000 pieces of cloth mask to the Thai Red Cross, which presented 67 rolls of Salao cloth to the Ministry of Labour. The cloth was taken to Skills Development Institutes/Offices nationwide and sewn into masks on April 13. The masks were presented to Director of the Office of the Thai Red Cross Mrs. Sunantha Sornanusin and committee, at the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour’s office, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour. The masks will be distributed to the public to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
