MOL Receives Clear Face Shields from Siam Michelin Thailand to Distribute to Bangkok SSO Personnel in 12 Districts to Prevent Covid-19

          On April 13, 2020, at 13.00 hours, Member of Parliament, the Labour Committee and Advisor to the Labour Minister Ms. Anusaree Tubsuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, and the Social Security Office’s Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, received clear face shields from Khun Parichart Prachanpanich, Human Resources Director from Michelin Siam Thailand, and Khun Nalin Pipitwan, Human Resources Manager of Michelin Siam, Laem Chabang Plant. The company donated 600 pieces to distribute to the staff of the Social Security Office to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The gesture was an expression of cooperation from all sectors participating in the prevention of the Covid-19 virus outbreak. The occasion took place at the ground floor of the 15-floor building, Ministry of Labour.

          MP Anusaree said that during the Covid-19 virus outbreak, the Ministry of Labour has collaborated with the private sector, including Michelin Siam Company Thailand, who has sponsored 600 face shields to allocate to the staff of the Social Security Office. The face shields will help prevent the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus.

          After receiving the clear face shields, the Social Security Office’s Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud said that the masks would be distributed to people who contact the 12 Social Security Offices in Bangkok, to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
