On October 29, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin received rice from Ms. Issei Phakhansawat, President of the Association of Employers for Investment in Thailand and company director of Billion Thai Supply Co., Ltd., amounting to 3,000 bags, totaling 15,000 kilograms. The donation was made to the Ministry of Labour to deliver to flood-affected workers. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong also joined the occasion at the foyer on the ground floor, Ministry of Labour.
“Today, the Ministry of Labour thanks the private sector, such as the Association of Employers for Investment in Thailand and Billion Thai Supply Co., Ltd., for donating rice to the Ministry of Labour to help the workers who are struggling in different areas. This will help lighten the burden and build morale to overcome this situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
