On May 29, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the Skill Development Promotion Committee Meeting No. 4/2020 at the Pakorn Angsusing meeting room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development. The meeting considered the following: 1) Request of approval on the draft announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Board on National Skill Standards and the issuance of certificates certifying the successful passing of national labour standards assessments in industrial technicians, tik welding at the level 1 – 3 proficiency and mag welding at the level 1 – 3 proficiency. 2) The approval of the establishment of national labour standards to support 10 industries of the future in 77 branches, and the draft order to appoint a subcommittee to determine the national labour standard of 6 branches. 3) Request for approval on the draft announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Board on determining the rate for national skill standard assessments. 4) Request for approval on the draft announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Board on criteria for payment to help or subsidize the Skill Development Fund. 5) Request for approval to improve the order of the Skill Development Promotion Committee regarding the appointment of the Assistant Secretary to the Skill Development Promotion Committee.
