Today (July 31, 2019) at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the meeting of the Skill Development Promotion Committee No. 6/2019. The meeting considered the request for approval to establish the national skill standards, as well as the appointment of a subcommittee to form the national skill standards for the jewelry technician branch (uncut gemstones) and improving the order of the subcommittee on national skill standards in professional services, namely Thai cooking. The meeting also discussed the extension of the zero percent per year interest rate and the draft announcement of the Skill Development Committee on the subject of loan limits and repayment to the work development fund (No. …), loan payment into the skill development fund following the Skill Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545, the adjustment of spending plans for the Skill Development Fund for 2019, an estimation of income and expenditure from the Skill Development Fund for 2020, and a budget plan for 2020. The meeting took place at the Pakorn Angsusing Conference Room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development.
