MOL Skill Development Promotion Committee Meets for No. 5/2020

          Today (June 26, 2020) at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the Skill Development Promotion Committee Meeting No. 5/2020. Relevant agencies participated in the meeting at the Pakorn Angsusing meeting room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development. The meeting considered the request for approval of the Skill Development Promotion Committee’s draft order on the appointment of a subcommittee to prepare details to classify and specify the level of knowledge and capability, and specify the wage rate range appropriate to the level of knowledge and skills in respective professionals fields of mechanical engineering and construction. The meeting also requested approval to improve the order of the Skill Development Promotion Committee on the appointment of the subcommittee for the establishment of National Skill Standards relating to electrician in electronics and computers, and indoor electrician branches, including the application for approval of the draft announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Board on the determination of the national standardized skill testing fees. Furthermore, the meeting discussed the request for approval of the Action Plan for Skill Development Fund, the Digital Action Plan for Skill Development Funds, the Human Resource Management Plan for Skill Development Funds 2020 – 2022 and the Action Plan for the 2021Fiscal Year. The meeting also requested approval of the plan to increase the efficiency of the Skill Development Fund 2020 – 2022, the Action Plan for the 2020 fiscal year and to extend the time on the interest rate of zero percent per year. It further drafted the announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Committee, regarding the “Determination of Loan Limit and Reimbursement of the Skill Development Fund (No. …) and the request for approval to adjust the plan for expenditure from the skill development funds for 2020.
