MOL Welcomes Deputy Director-General of UNICEF Thailand

            On September 22, 2021, at 14.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives consisting of the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Nanthachai Panyasurarit, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, Inspector-General from the Department of Skill Development Mr. Anukul Namwongsuk, Inspector-General from the Social Security Office Mrs. Wantana Natthaphunwat and Director of the Office of International Cooperation Ms. Chuleerat Thongthip gave a warm welcome to Mr. Severine Leonardi, Deputy Director-General of UNICEF Thailand (UNICEF) and delegation on a courtesy call, which took place via teleconference at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.

            On this occasion, the Ministry of Labour’s executives and UNICEF discussed ways to cooperate and form the UNICEF Country Programme in Thailand (2022-2026) on the issue of vocational skills development among youths, integrating social protection systems during the COVID-19 crisis and future emergencies, as well as family-friendly policies. This discussion will be beneficial to developing policies in creating quality and potential people for the nation in the future.
